Operating with the mission to bridge gaps in critical services during times of strain, CRL works alongside emergency services, local authorities, and voluntary organisations across Lincolnshire.

First Responder
Providing critical medical assistance at the scene of emergencies, trained to act in those vital first minutes.
Event Management
Ensuring the smooth, safe operation of local events — from village fêtes to large public gatherings across the county.
Traffic Control
Managing road closures and safely directing traffic during incidents and community events to keep roads moving.
Logistics
Transporting people, essential supplies, and equipment wherever they are needed most across Lincolnshire.

Guiding and supporting attendees at events, maintaining safety and ensuring everyone has a positive experience.
Car Parking
Coordinating safe, efficient parking solutions at large events, reducing congestion and improving safety.
Fundraising
Organising community fundraising initiatives to sustain our mission, expand our services, and invest in vital equipment.
Rest Centre Operations
Helping to set up and manage temporary relief centres during emergencies, providing shelter and support.
Our dedicated members are equipped with the training and expertise to respond to a wide range of needs — ensuring our community always has the support it deserves.

NHS Staff Transport
Transporting NHS staff, doctors and nurses to and from work — including reaching remote areas so critical medical care is never delayed.
Road Closures & Recovery
Managing road closures during severe weather and assisting with the recovery of stranded vehicles and personnel.
Welfare Pack Distribution
Distributing essential welfare packs to vulnerable residents and those in need during prolonged periods of severe or disruptive weather.
Home Visits During Inclement Weather
Using 4x4 vehicles, CRL ensures that doctors, nurses, and healthcare providers can reach patients in difficult-to-access locations during adverse weather conditions.
Transportation for Critical Supplies
We transport essential medical supplies, equipment, and personnel when conventional logistics are disrupted by environmental challenges.
Auxiliary Assistance
CRL supports local fire, police, and NHS services during periods of high demand — providing skilled personnel and vehicles for urgent scenarios.
Blue Light Assistance
Our professionally trained drivers are equipped to respond swiftly to emergencies under blue light conditions, aiding in life-saving operations.
First Responder Medical Care
Certified First Responders deliver critical medical aid to stabilise patients before ambulance services arrive — often in remote areas of Lincolnshire.

Check-Ins for Vulnerable Residents
CRL conducts wellness checks on elderly, disabled, or isolated individuals during emergencies, ensuring their safety and access to essential resources.
Disaster Relief Coordination
We assist in organising local relief efforts during natural disasters or significant disruptions, providing logistical and manpower support to local authorities and community groups.

CRL operates a fleet of rugged 4x4 vehicles, ensuring reliable transportation across challenging terrains — particularly in rural or inaccessible areas of Lincolnshire where standard vehicles cannot reach.
Transportation for Emergency Personnel
We transport emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and essential personnel to ensure critical services are maintained during emergencies — no matter the conditions on the ground.

Deeping Raft Race

Another fantastic day out for Community Response Lincolnshire at the annual Deeping Raft Race 2026! 🚣☀️
With glorious sunshine and a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, it was a wonderful community event that showcased the very best of local spirit.
Our team had 7 volunteer marshals managing the road closures, helping to keep everyone safe while the colourful rafts took to the water. Meanwhile, 5 volunteers kept our fundraising stall buzzing with activity, giving visitors plenty of chances to join in the fun.
The fundraising team ran a variety of popular games, including our Tombola, Wine or Water, Marbles Game, and the ever-popular Play Your Cards Right. Congratulations to all of our lucky winners—it was great to see so many smiling faces!
Our CEO also spent time strengthening community links, meeting and supporting the fantastic Deeping Lionesses raft team, highlighting the importance of working together with local organisations and community groups.
By the end of the day, thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who visited our stall, we had raised just over £340 to support the ongoing work of Community Response Lincolnshire.
A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave up their Sunday, everyone who stopped by our stall, and the organisers for putting on another successful Deeping Raft Race.
A brilliant day, a fantastic team effort, and another successful community event. Thank you, Deeping—we’ll see you again next year! 💙💛

Moulton Chapel Flower Parade

CRL assisted at the Moulton Chapel Flower Parade, implementing road closures and marshalling traffic, during the parade of floats and vehicles. CRL also had the opportunity to run a stand, raising much needed funds for the charity.

2025 Bourne Christmas Tractor Run

CRL deployed several vehicles to provide road marshalling and convoy escort for the 2025 Bourne Christmas Tractor Run — a spectacular festive procession through Bourne town centre on Sunday 14th December 2025.

A message to our valued volunteers
To mark the start of National Volunteers' Week 2026 from 1 to 7 June – a week dedicated to recognising and celebrating people like you – I wanted to get in touch to offer my heartfelt thanks.
Across Lincolnshire, you generously give your time and skills to help our families, our communities and our county. Your commitment makes a real difference, and on behalf of the leadership of Lincolnshire County Council, we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.
Please know that your contribution matters. The energy, experience and enthusiasm of our volunteers helps make Lincolnshire a better place to live, work and visit, and really enhances what we provide at the council. I hope you also find volunteering rewarding to yourself, and the benefits it brings to your own life and wellbeing.
To say an extra thank you, this year we are proud to be celebrating our volunteers at the Lincolnshire Show. We will be hosting a special event as a small way of showing our appreciation and recognising the huge impact all volunteers have across the county. It's also our chance to meet some of our volunteers and say thank you in person.
We hope this will be the start of further events and celebrations for the future, so if you don't get the chance to join us this year, there will be more opportunities ahead.

I hope you’re all feeling well-rested after the weekend! I wanted to take a moment to thank every one of you for the incredible energy, commitment, and teamwork you, Community Response, brought to the Lincoln event. We are so grateful for your support.
Your help across the two days was absolutely invaluable to both me and the entire team at Cancer Research UK. Your enthusiasm, flexibility, willingness, and dedication to get truly stuck in made a world of difference. Because of your efforts, the event was a wonderful success for every single one of our participants.
To give you a sense of the impact you made:
- We saw 2300 participants take on the challenge across 3k, 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy Kids, and Pretty Muddy 5k events.
- We've already raised over £212,000 from this event for Cancer Research UK.
This fundraising can make a real, lasting difference.
Our events truly could not happen without your amazing support—we honestly could not do it without you.
